Our Aims

Chairperson - Bharti Patel 
I joined the group as a member and then became involved in the committee to be a secretary. I enjoyed the role and moved on to Chairperson. I enjoy facilitating the group and promote our group to the Asian community. I am also a volunteer at Macmillan Cancer Support and take active role and closely work with Breast Cancer Care.

Secretary - Mita Kotecha
I work at NWL Hospital in Harrow and joined the group in the year 2006.  Since then I have become active member becoming a Secretary. My aim is to help others through the journey and support them emotionally as much as possible.  At work through Macmillan Cancer support group I often meet patients giving them moral support.  This gives me a lot of satisfaction.

Treasurer - Shaila Rasania
I joined the group in year 2007, and appreciated the support so much that I decided to give something back to the group. I became the Treasurer and take an active role in running and promoting awareness to other ladies who may need our help. I am very passionate about taking this group to a higher level and reach many more ladies from all background and culture.

Events Organiser - Hina Gami
I joined the group two years ago to help with the fund raising and marketing our events. I work as a Business Manager at Canary Wharf in the Asian unit which helps with sponsorships and advertising .This has raised our profile and awareness amongst the Asian Community with the help of Asian Women Magazine, National Westminster Bank and the Prism Group.
